Browsing Information
- Each image in the collection belongs to one or more categories.
- These categories are thematic and are intended to indicate a broader
aspect of the image rather than the specific content.
- If you are interested in specific content then use the
search mechanism which looks for images with keywords which match the search text.
These keywords are better indicators of the content of the image.
- Select a category to browse by clicking the sample image.
- You may browse the images that have
recently added to the collection.
- A list of all images in accession order is also available.
When browsing you may click a displayed thumbnail to see a larger (watermarked) version and
obtain more information about the image, including its actual size and when
and where it was taken.

rather than the actual subject matter.

Many of these images have both sea and land.
Others were taken at or near the coast.

Images in which there are at least several people.

Countryside scenes and events or anything to be found in villages
or linked to agriculture.

|
Views, landscapes and attractive outside scenes.
|
|
|
Means of transport or transport-related images.
|
|
Events and scenes in towns and cities, or anything to be found in an urban setting.
